"Patrakar Suraksha Seva Samiti" Chhattisgarh President Naveen Rajput says, 'Protecting journalists and safeguarding their rights is my primary duty!'
Patrakar Suraksha Seva Samiti is a national organization working for the welfare of journalists in over 17 states across the country. The objective of the Journalist Security Service Committee is to prevent incidents against journalists and protect their rights.
Upon being appointed as the Chhattisgarh State President, Naveen Singh Rajput stated that he would strengthen the unity of all journalists in the state. He added that along with the Journalist Security Law, there are several other demands that will soon be presented to the government.
This is so that journalists, who are called the fourth pillar of the country, can discharge their duties fearlessly and without intimidation. In the coming days, our organization will place several demands before the Central and State Governments for the benefit of journalists. The organization will make full efforts to secure government support for issues such as the Journalist Security Act, as well as pensions and honorariums for senior journalists.
